True Human Tribulation II: Skirmish

The hopelessness of this situation is not unbeknownst to you. The human race has already reached the bad ending, and yet you still want to continue. Even if you inevitably fail, as long as you have tried your best, that would be enough.

THT II: Skirmish is a short, wave-based fighter where you have to survive against 3 waves of enemies to win. You have 3 different Sub-Weapons to choose from, and they act as extensions to your core move set. On top of that, there are a couple pre-made waves to go up against that the game chooses randomly. Adding a little bit of re-playability and variety to the experience. Also features controller support as well!

The game is also open-source and hosted on GitHub. Taking about 3 months, and 26 days of development time. Right out of the box, there's plenty you could modify and add without necessarily changing the game's code itself. Examples include: The game's graphics, sounds, and music. Along with being able to add or remove stages, and enemy waves.

I made this game solely by myself, and it's the second entry of the True Human Tribulation series, which is a Urban Fantasy Anthology series of which anyone could contribute to. It's core idea is that it's about an average human rising up to face the supernatural. It's more like a collaborative project that anyone could build upon, bit by bit.

For the most part, an singular entry would be self-contained unless specified. That means you don't have to play first game to understand what's going on.
